Where am I going

For me, the future is a scary prospect since I don't know what I want. Career wise I don't know what path I want to go on or if I even want to continue in the major I am in at the moment. All I know is that I want to do what makes me happy. The things that make me happy are a lot of things, however, I would love to work with children or animals. I have always had a passion for these things since my family has done foster care and rescued animals as long as I can remember. The only thing I know is that I want to be happy no matter what I choose to do in my life.

Moving into college has been a new experience since I have never been far away from home for a long amount of time. I am pretty used to having a roommate because I have shared a room with my little sister at home for as long as I can remember. My roommate is really nice and fun but sometimes it can be a little awkward. I did not know my roommate before I moved in but everything has been going well so far.
My classes so far are more lecture classes than anything else. They are really boring since all of my teachers just stand and talk. Most of my classes I don't understand why I have to take notes since the teachers post the powerpoint and discussion notes on blackboard. The only thing I struggle with is getting enough sleep. I have always had sleep insomnia and even been sleep tested, coming to college has only made it harder for me to regulate my sleep.
